This House was a designed for a builder who worked with us on a number of projects, and wanted a to build his family home, as house that could be an award winning ecologically focused house. The site, located about 500 metres to sea was focused on a resilience and open-ness for this locatilty.

The site was difficult, as much of the ground was sand, therefore meaning we needed to determine an appropriate engineered solution, which could include an onsite 60,000 litre water storage 

The clients brief to deisgn amodern contemporary design, which maximises its northern light.
