The Crudine house, was a regeneration project for its owner which lost the house due to fire.

Located in a remote section of the Central Tablelands in NSW.

Its owner an artiste sought a design which was both practical in its flow, and liveability, but also ensured a maximised passive elements to ensure a low energy lifestyle for its occupants, but what was most important was the ability to be bushfire resistant.

This 3 bedroom design was realised and fully constructed for under $200k. Built on a series of levels due to the terrain of the site. It is mainly cover in corrugated steel with aluminium windows set into the frames. The long sloping roof is ideal for side for maximum water harvesting
