RESIDENTIAL

Smith Lake

The house was part of a sea change for the client . The client wanted a north facing north but also wanted the sleeping area separate to the main living area of the house.

The option was to create two distinct pods one for living and one for sleeping with a glass link between the two .

The site fell time to the street, so a garage at the street level was obvious with all living areas to the upper level. As the land sloped to the north, it rose to the rear so the sleeping pod was placed to the rear area on the site but clever roof design still allows northern sun to enter the sleeping areas . It also creates some innerly cost yards for quiet contemplation in hot summer days

All concrete tiled floor with render hebel walls and colours still roof pried the ideal fabric for a comfortable home
